In the 1980s-90s, patients had to go to advanced centers in Ankara and Istanbul due to the lack of technological opportunities for the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases in and around Antalya. In those years, even the patients with diabetic retinopathy, who required frequent follow-up, went out of the province at intervals of two or three months, causing difficulties in terms of both their health and material and morality. Upon the determination of this deficiency; In 1990, Op. Dr. Leyla YEŞİLİPEK, Opr. Dr. Feyyaz ESEN and Opr. Dr. Burcu ÇELİK has ideals; They decided to establish a center in order to create a service environment that will enable the patients of Antalya to benefit from these developments and to provide better service by following the rapidly developing technological opportunities in the field of eye health, where the physicians, who foresee collective work in health services, have the same fields that will make professional solidarity permanent, will share their knowledge and experience. In January 1991, they completed their studies and established the Special Orbit Eye Center. This institution is one of the "firsts", which was not very similar in those years in Turkey.

Thus, for the first time in Antalya for eye diseases; eye angiography, argon laser treatment, computerized visual field examination and excimer laser treatments have been put into the service of our people.

Orbit Eye Center ; It has become an institution that has earned the rightful trust of its patients until today, by approaching each patient with the understanding of "Let's do what we want to be done to our relatives" and working with ethical and deontological working principles rather than commercial concerns.

In 2013, Op. Dr. With the participation of Halil İbrahim Kaya in the organization, its power has increased even more.

Private Orbit Medical Center, which started its service in its new and detached building in Etiler Mahallesi in 2014, will continue to serve with new departments such as Dentistry and ENT Diseases in the future, as well as eye diseases.
